A long history of caring for local eyes

Founded in 1978, Hendry Opticians has grown alongside the town we serve. As we look towards our 50th anniversary in 2028, we continue to invest in the future of eye care while holding onto the values that shaped us from the beginning: time for every patient, trusted professional advice and a friendly, welcoming environment.

Our practice was fully refitted in 2024, allowing us to introduce advanced technology, bespoke eyewear and modern testing equipment while maintaining the personal touch that our patients appreciate.

Our Team

Our team includes four experienced Dispensing Opticians and a highly skilled group of optometrists — including those with Independent Prescribing qualifications. Each member of the team brings their own expertise and warm approach to care, ensuring you feel understood and supported at every visit.
